This class is designed to equip the student to understand emotions from the Biblical perspective. A conceptual framework will be developed for understanding the human condition through the lens of Scripture. Anger, stress, fear, worry and depression will be the target areas of study. The goal will be to deepen our understanding of how people grow and change through the Word, the Spirit, and the local church, and how we can be used by God, as counselors, in that process. Prerequisite: COUN 112, YTST 222, and at least one additional class in counseling. 3 hours.
