This exposition of the Hebrew poetical books, including Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon is designed to introduce the student to both Hebrew poetical devices and their usage as well as Hebrew wisdom literature. Methods of exegesis and application for these genres are discussed and practiced. Prerequisites: BSTH 111, BSTH I12, BSTH 241, ENGL111. 3 hours.
