This course is a survey of church history from its historical and doctrinal roots in the first century A.D. through modern times. The historical Baptist distinctives are reviewed and the Baptist church polity is examined. An overview of the major events, personalities, movements, and trends of the church is examined, especially in reference to its influence upon Baptist churches.
