Cross-Cultural Adjustment ~ CCST341
The emphasis of CCST 341 is on the intensely practical rather than merely the academic issues of adjustment. Primary to healthy adjustment are the real life issues of living outside of one’s native context, raising issues such as required government documentation, importing personal belongings, establishing a residence and addressing family needs, understanding health risks, and available health services. Furthermore, the ability to evaluate and re-evaluate these needs is stressed with appropriate models and guidelines.
Prerequisites: CCST112, CCST221. 3 Hours
