Northeast Asia Area Study emphasizing the last 200 years of modern social, political, and religious history and the resulting environments of the early 21st century. The course will be an overview of the entire region with an emphasis on China, Japan, and Korea. Readings will include historical, biographical, and religious emphases. Assignments will focus on application of learned information toward biblical church planting ministry.
