Introduction to Cross-Cultural Studies ~ CCST112
In an ethnically, socially, and religiously diverse society, Christian ministers must be competent to convey the faith across numerous philosophical barriers. A practical and theoretical foundation for successful cross-cultural missions is essential not only for those who follow Christ's Great Commission and work abroad, but for an increasingly diverse American ministry as well. Attention is given to missiological terminology, an introduction to the history of missions, and the theological framework of the cross-cultural task. Students will also become familiar with the general elements of the Baptist Bible Fellowship missions policy.
