Particular details of America’s religious heritage are considered in this study. The approach is one of thematic rather than chronological nature, and covers the period from our earliest forbears to more modern times. Since ours was declared to be a Christian nation from its origin, and since most of our heritage has been overwhelmingly Christian by design and belief, various Christan ideologies, movements, and peculiar identities will compose the majority of our study. However, other lesser religious associations will also be covered to some degree.
