This course is designed to assist students in developing and refining their writing skills as they discuss, research, and write about humanities subjects that deal with America’s founding documents, primarily the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The primary disciplines that serve as background for this study involve constitutional theory, history, practice, and political analysis. We will pay particular attention to current political developments relative to constitutional interpretation.
