Readings in Roman Literature ~ LITR229-07

This course deals with reading of primary source materials written by various Roman authors over the course of ancient Roman history. The writings survey a number of viewpoints dealing with ancient Roman concepts of history, religion, politics, and, on a broader scale, life in general. The purpose of this reading is to equip the student with a greater understanding of that culture so as to better prepare him/her for the accompanying study trip to Rome itself.
