Pastoral Counseling ~ MNSK325
The basic responsibilities and skills involved in pastoral counseling are examined, as are general techniques and principles of counseling. The unique role of the pastor as a guiding influence is examined and is contrasted with that of a professional psychologist. The biblical philosophy of sin and behavior is adopted and applied.
Prerequisites: MNSK111, PSCH111. Limited to students with minors in Pastoral and Cross-Cultural Ministries.
