The text and questions will deal with gametogenesis to histogensis. The role of cells in development will be examined for gamete formation, fertilization, and cleavage. Then, cell fate, potency, and determination will be studied for several species. Lastly, axis formation, induction, and gastrulation will be followed up to neurulation. Emphasis will be placed on research methods and journal understanding of current work in developmental science.
