WHAT IS THE MISSIONARY ACCLIMATION PROJECT?
The Missionary Acclimation Project, or the MAP, is our specialized system for ensuring missionaries and/or their dependents are able to transition smoothly from the mission field to the classroom. Missionaries and their families are valued members of the Boston Baptist College family. We have a rich heritage of welcoming missionary dependents onto our campus as well as training our students to serve in mission fields around the globe. We also recognize that moving from the mission field to the classroom can be a difficult transition and, at Boston Baptist College, we work diligently to make this move as easy as possible. The MAP is specially designed to help missionaries or their children integrate into our College family academically, socially, and spiritually. The MAP is not a required course of action for missionaries or their children, but rather a set of resources available for them should they need them.
